Job description

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and experienced individual to join our team. Under the supervision of the Logistics Director, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating logistics operations, to ensure efficient and optimal ongoing service. This role is essential to ensure that the logistics operations inherent in our mandate run as smoothly as possible.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate all logistical activities related to the operations of a redeemable redeemable containers depot;
  • Manage the procurement and distribution of logistics materials, including bins, totes, pallet trucks, stackers, forklifts and other necessary equipment;
  • Ensure smooth and continuous communication with operations teams and return sites to guarantee efficient flow management;
  • Coordinate and implement corrective and preventive actions to optimize operational processes;
  • Make regular visits to shipping and delivery sites to check work quality and compliance with professional standards;
  • Evaluate logistical needs at different sites according to local specificities;
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventories and ensure control of goods and equipment.

 

Requirements

  • Post-secondary studies in administration, logistics or a related field;
  • Between 3 and 5 years' experience in logistics;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel functionalities, particularly for inventory tracking and data analysis;
  • Experience in an industrial or commercial environment (an asset);
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating autonomy;
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments;
  • Bilingual (French/English);
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Workplace : Hybrid mode, our offices are located in Saint-Laurent.

Who are we ? 

The Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, financing and management of the deposit-refund system, which has been modernized according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling and reclamation of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
