Full job description 

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the person in charge of staff training will be responsible for training employees working in return sites across the province. His or her role will be to support territory supervisors in achieving the highest standards of customer service, and to ensure that knowledge is shared across the network.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities 

  • Design of training programs adapted to the specific needs of the company and service points;
  • Leading training sessions using various teaching methods to ensure the integration of new employees;
  • Provide training on company processes, procedures and standards;
  • Development of technical skills necessary for the provision of quality services, including the operation of industrial equipment;
  • Regular assessment of training needs and adjustment of programs accordingly;
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs;
  • Documentation of training activities, compilation of reports and proposal of improvements.

 

Desired profile 

Training 

  • University degree in administration or any other university training deemed relevant.

 

Experience and knowledge 

  • Relevant experience in member and customer service or a similar partner relations role;
  • Ability to develop strong human and business relationships with internal and external clients;
  • Organizational skills, autonomy and initiative;
  • Experience in a regulated environment (an asset);
  • Demonstrated aptitude for collaborative work and solution-finding;
  • Listening skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.

Who we are

The Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, financing and management of the deposit-refund system, which has been modernized according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling and reclamation of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
