Full job description
Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, the day laborer is responsible for the daily operation and proper functioning of the equipment operating in the drop-off point . Integration training is offered to all new employees.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Carry out the operation of the container recovery line to ensure continuous service;
- Processing customer bags;
- Ensure the maintenance of the premises by maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and the warehouse space;
- Operate the return system and other equipment;
- Operate various handling and storage equipment;
- Perform regular maintenance on workstations to keep the assembly area clean and organized.
- Carry out visual inspections on equipment;
- Ensure that safety and health standards are met;
- As needed, train colleagues and share knowledge;
- Perform all other related tasks (i.e., shipping preparation, inventory, reporting, cleaning of work areas including the bathroom, etc.)
Profile required
- Ability to work in a team;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to learn continuously and work independently;
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving and construction environment;
- Ability to use IT tools.
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma (SSD) or equivalent relevant experience ;
- Hold a forklift driving certificate (asset);
- Mastery of the French language;
- Respecting availability slots;
- Ability to work in varying conditions (hot, cold, humid, noisy);
- Ability to perform repetitive movements;
- Ability to lift loads of at least 20kg;
- Demonstrate adaptability.
