Job description

We are looking for a person who is keen to exercise high-level leadership within our organization, and to work with a dynamic, creative and constantly evolving team. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this person will be responsible for supporting managers and employees at the various sites as a human resources specialist. In a hybrid work environment, he/she will actively contribute to the development of an employee-centered organizational culture.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations managers to ensure the implementation of strategic and operational plans for the entire network;
  • Support managers in their human resources needs and guide them towards best practices in management and development;
  • Participate in the drafting, review and implementation of organizational policies and procedures;
  • Ensure the implementation, communication and understanding of human resources information;
  • Support network employees in their integration and answer their questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Manage day-to-day employee relations;
  • Act as an ambassador for change management at the various sites;
  • Support managers in identifying training needs and developing talent;
  • Contribute actively to HR projects;
  • Perform related administrative tasks and participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes;
  • Perform all other tasks related to human resources.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in industrial relations, human resources or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in an HR business partner role;
  • Solid experience in managing labor relations and coaching managers;
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and standards;
  • Experience in a fast-growing multi-site environment (an asset);
  • Proven ability to support managers in their day-to-day challenges;
  • Ability to analyze and make recommendations;
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and a valid driving license;
  • Team spirit and passion for human resources;
  • Ability to evolve in a fast-growing and constantly changing environment;
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English.

 

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Job Location : Hybrid telework in Montreal, Quebec and frequent travel within return sites on its territory

Who are we ?

The Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, financing and management of the deposit-refund system, which has been modernized according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling and reclamation of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
