Full job description

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the field operations of several return sites within a defined territory. He/she acts as liaison between field operations and the organization's head office. The Territory Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate standards, as well as the operation of the branches under his/her responsibility.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • In charge of schedules for all depots in its territory;
  • Be able to respond to team needs;
  • Responsible for employee training;
  • Liaise between depot and logistics activities;
  • Responsible for the health and hygiene of depots in its territory;
  • Responsible for supply to depots in its territory;
  • Money logistics manager;
  • Responsible for communication between depots and head office;
  • See to the various training courses required for employees (WHMIS, courses, first aid, CNESST training);
  • Report production and analysis;
  • Responsible for the quality of customer service at all depots in its territory;
  • Responsible for taking corrective action when necessary and following up on complaints;
  • Act, in collaboration with his immediate superior, as a contact person in the event of breakdowns, breakages or other events;
  • Responsible for communicating with immediate supervisor and discussing issues and possible improvements.

 

 

Profile required

  • Expertise in managing several employees;
  • Spoken and written bilingualism;
  • Minimum five (5) years in a managerial position;
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends;
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Comité Bonne Entente and/or union;
  • Knowledge of CNSST rules;
  • WHMIS certification;
  • First aid certification (CPR);
  • Have good listening skills and a good analytical mind;
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

 

Salary range: According to experience

Job location: Frequent travel throughout the territory under supervision
