Job description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Territory Supervisor plays a key role in managing field operations for several return sites within a specific territory. This strategic position serves as an essential bridge between operational activities in the field and the organization's head office.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Responsible for the schedules of all return locations in its territory;
  • Be able to respond to team needs;
  • Responsible for employee training;
  • Liaise between the activities of the return locations and those of logistics;
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the return areas in its territory;
  • Responsible for supplying the return facilities in its territory;
  • Money logistics manager;
  • Responsible for communication between return locations and head office;
  • See to the various training courses required for employees (WHMIS, courses, first aid, CNESST training);
  • Report production and analysis;
  • Responsible for the quality of customer service at return locations in its territory;
  • Responsible for taking corrective action when necessary and following up on complaints;
  • Act, in collaboration with his immediate superior, as a contact person in the event of breakdowns, breakages or other events;
  • Responsible for communicating with immediate supervisor and discussing issues and possible improvements.
  • Any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years in an operations management or employee management position;
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends;
  • Knowledge of CNSST rules;
  • WHMIS certification;
  • First aid certification (CPR);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and is able to travel, in order to perform the function.

Who are we ?

The Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, financing and management of the deposit-refund system, which has been modernized according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling and reclamation of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
