Update of producers' product lists
Dear members,
With phase 2 of the deposit-refund modernization deposit-refund begin on March1, 2025,QBCRA would like to remindQBCRA of your obligation to regularly report information on returnable beverages sold in Quebec.QBCRA offers a tool designed to helpQBCRA provide a list of your products that are subject to deposit-refund with regulatory requirements.
This tool is available in the Members portal of the Consignaction website under theProduct Management section. It will allow you to update your list of returnable products easily and efficiently. To access it, clickhere.
These are:
- Download this new product list template in Excel format (.xlsx) to list all returnable drinks sold in Quebec.
- if there are any changes to the list of products sold, you must make the necessary corrections;
- If you launch new products, you must add them to the product list as soon as they are released .
In addition to being a regulatory requirement, this step is crucial to ensure that the databases used by automated collectors are up to date when Phase 2 is launched on March 1, 2025. Updating product lists on a regular basis will help prevent returnable beverage containers from being rejected.
