Update of producer contribution amounts
Dear partners,
Following the partial postponement of the enlargement of the deposit-refund Announced by the government on November 28, adjustments have been made to the amounts of producers' contributions. These amounts will apply for the period from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026.
Why these adjustments?
The partial postponement targets in particular glass beverage containers that are not already deposit-refundable, such as wine and spirits bottles and multi-layer cardboard containers. These containers will now be deposit-refundable from 1 March 2027. However, all plastic ready-to-drink beverage containers from 100 ml to 2 l will be deposit-refundable from 1 March 2025. This represents an addition of approximately 1.2 billion beverage containers to the system. deposit-refund .
