Hats off to La Vallée des Roseaux

La Vallée des Roseaux is a non-profit hospice. Located in Baie-Comeau, it offers services to improve residents' quality of life and provide psycho-emotional support. One of the home's greatest challenges is to maintain its free services. A few years ago, to help make ends meet, the home decided to launch an appeal to the community to help it collect redeemable containers. The response was overwhelming. Every week, Vallée des Roseaux manages to collect between 400 and 600 bags of redeemable containers. Last year alone, thousands of dollars were added to the organization's coffers. Proof that deposit-refund schemes can do a lot of good!
