Consignaction scores a goal in Quebec City
Consignaction is pleased to be a partner of the Quebec City International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, which takes place in the provincial capital from February 8 to 19!
The tournament, considered one of the most prestigious minor field hockey competitions in the world, welcomes some 100 teams from 13 countries, and offers youngsters an unforgettable experience.
Consignaction will be there, with activities and awareness campaigns aimed at players and their fans. In addition, dozens of deposit-refund boxes deposit-refund installed in the Videotron Amphitheater to ensure that cans and bottles consumed on site are collected and do not end up in the trash. All containers collected will be 100% recycled.
"It's important to talk to young people and keep them well informed so that they make recycling part of their lifestyle habits from an early age," commented Sophie Boissonneault, Director of Communications at Consignaction.
After more than sixty years of existence, the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament remains a memorable meeting place where thousands of players aged 11 and 12 come to defend their team's colors, just as Guy Lafleur, Wayne Gretzky and many other field hockey greats did before them at this same tournament. And for the first time in its history, this year's tournament features an all-female division.
