Job description
We are looking for an inspiring and motivated individual who is ready to provide outstanding leadership to our organization. Reporting to the Vice-President Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's HR activities. In a hybrid environment, he/she will support managers in developing an employee-centered organizational culture. He/she will lead a multidisciplinary team specializing in labor relations, recruitment, payroll and occupational health and safety.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Contribute to maintaining and improving employee engagement, in collaboration with the HR team and the organization;
- Participate in the development and implementation of initiatives, strategies and best practices, as well as all HR policies;
- Develop and implement human resources management programs and procedures, ensuring they are in line with best market practices (compensation, staffing, labor relations, training, organizational development);
- Advise managers and team members to ensure sound management of labor relations;
- Assist the Vice-President with performance management, training and development plans, talent assessments and communications;
- Support the implementation of HR solutions, such as payroll, applicant management and scheduling systems;
- Ensure effective recruitment, induction and integration processes for new employees, in order to attract, develop and retain talent;
- Collaborate in the drafting and updating of an employee working conditions manual, and oversee its application;
- Support the network in implementing and applying best practices in occupational health and safety;
- Play the role of change leader to mobilize and engage teams in a constantly changing environment;
- Develop and analyze tools for managing and monitoring department performance (KPI dashboards);
- Use HR best practices to guide decision-making and maintain a professional network to monitor industry trends;
- Carry out all other related human resources tasks.
Requirements
- University degree in industrial relations, human resources or a related field;
- At least 7 years' experience in human resources, with strong expertise in labor relations;
- In-depth knowledge of labor relations laws, regulations and standards;
- Passionate, motivating and able to rally teams around organizational objectives;
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, dynamic and constantly evolving environment;
- Proven skills in managing multiple priorities and working proactively;
- Expertise in drafting and researching organizational policies and procedures;
- Bilingualism in spoken and written French and English;
- Proficiency in Office suite.

Job location : Hybrid telecommuting in Montreal, Quebec, with frequent travel to return sites within its territory.

The Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) is the designated management organization (DMO) for the development, implementation, financing and management of the deposit-refund system, which has been modernized according to the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. It brings together the various beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling and reclamation of beverage containers in the province of Quebec.
