deposit-refund is the future
In April, Consignaction launched its national campaign under the theme "La deposit-refund, c'est l'avenir".
In fact, since 2023, the modernization and expansion of deposit-refund has been underway in Quebec. The aim of this modernization is to recover and recycle a greater number of returnable beverage containers, thereby reducing our ecological footprint.
deposit-refund is also a way for citizens to fight climate change, by reducing the need to extract the raw materials required to manufacture new beverage containers. All recovered containers are 100% recycled.
