From October 26, residents of the Limoilou and St-Roch districts of Quebec City and Victoriaville will be able to return wine bottles, water bottles, juice and milk cartons, spirits bottles and redeemable containers beer and soft drink redeemable containers to new drop-off sites in their locality as part of a deposit-refund modernization pilot project.
The facilities are designed to test new container recovery models in order to design an expanded and modernized deposit-refund system to be rolled out across Quebec by the end of 2023.
